Francesco Pinter

Multi instrument player, mostly guitarist, Francesco Pinter is an Italian musician and composer who joined The Mourning in November 2018 during the recording sessions of their second Album “Hush”. Attending at Berklee in 2012, he studied electric guitar with Dave Fiuczynski, co founder of New Yorker Fusion Band “Screaming Headless Torsos” and with Joe Stump, actual Alcatrazz guitar player, well known in the music scene for his shredding guitar influenced mostly by Yngwie Malmsteen and Richie Blackmore.
Alex Nasla
Keyboards, Vocals
Alex has been around the block. With decades of experience in both the music performing world and the audio production world. Perhaps most recently known for his time in “Witherfall”, Alex left the band to focus on music he felt closer to his heart in The Mourning. As a Keyboardist, Alex is known as the guy that can do it all. Virtuoso piano? You got it. Atmospheric sound design? Check. Full 55-piece orchestration? No problem. Alex brings all of his talents to The Mourning, elevating the music and enhancing the overall vision behind the band. When he isn’t making music, he keeps himself busy running Spectre Digital and creating audio production courses at Spectre Academy.
Johnny Ray
Lead Vocals
Johnny Ray is a Vocalist, Composer, Business Owner, and Vocal Coach hailing from Tampa, Fl. Johnny created The Mourning in 2017 with drummer Jason Berlin, which started out as a simple recording project. Initial song ideas are typically written by Johnny, and then given to the rest of the band in order to create the magic that is The Mourning. Johnny is also the vocalist for the metal band 3 Headed Snake, alongside guitarist Sin Quirin (ex Ministry). Johnny is the owner of Gold Galore Diamond Center in Hudson, Fl where he creates custom jewelry, and Johnny has been teaching voice in person and online for over 10 years, with his vocal coaching company Stellar Vocals.
Jason Berlin
Drums, Bass Guitar
Jason has lived a life entrenched in music and the industry due to family. He grew up learning from his father Jeff Berlin, who played bass with the prog band Yes, and with the Jazz dynamo Allan Holdsworth. Jeff created The Players School of Music and Jason studied there and eventually worked there himself. Although he studied Jazz for many years, he has always had a love for metal and progressive styles of music. Jason and Johnny Ray started The Mourning in 2017, it started as a recording project but blossomed from there. They played many shows from then til 2019 when Jason joined the military. He has since then left the military to pursue The Mourning.
